Born in Ohio and enriched by an international upbringing that included six formative years in Luxembourg, Dr. Ridha brings a worldly, humanistic perspective to plastic surgery.
He completed a prestigious six-year combined B.S./M.D. program at Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2001. This accelerated program allowed him to pursue his passion for surgery from an early stage.
Surgical Training
Dr. Ridha completed his General Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Cabrini) in New York, NY from 2001-2006, where he graduated as valedictorian and was awarded Intern of the Year for exceptional clinical performance.
He then pursued specialized training through a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group / Nassau University Medical Center from 2006-2008, one of the nation's most comprehensive and respected programs in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
Board Certification & Professional Development
Dr. Ridha achieved double board certification from both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery—the gold standard in plastic surgery credentials recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
He was also elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), an honor recognizing ethical practice, professional competence, and commitment to quality patient care.
